Public toilets in Bridgford Park vandalised and cash boxes removed

The public toilets next to Alfresco in Bridgford’s Park have been vandalised for the fourth time three years.

A resident on his way to work spotted the scene this morning at around 6 am Saturday 24 July.

The steel facings of the vending system were wrenched away from the wall.

Wooden cash boxes that are inside the brickwork and collect the change inserted by customers were ripped out and left on the ground.

It’s not known how much cash the machines hold but it’s likely there are just 20 p coins in them.
