Radcliffe-on-Trent signing choir win at National Championships

PUBLISHED:

The Phoenix Signing Choir, based in Radcliffe-on-Trent won the 3rd UK National Signing Choir Championships at the stunning Caird Hall in Dundee this weekend.

Choirs travelled from all over the UK to compete in the event which was originally started in Nottingham in 2017, so we are delighted to be bringing the trophy home!

The choir performed ‘The Living Years’ by Mike and the Mechanics and ‘Fight Song’ by Rachel Platten in British Sign Language with emotion and passion.

The judges comment was just ‘Wow’!

Second and third places went to ‘Vision’ and ‘Revolution’ both from Kent. The choir would like to thank the Radcliffe-on-Trent Co-op and customers and all our supporters.

The photograph shows the winning choir and their leader Helen McLoughlin with the trophy.
