There are a number of issues affecting travel around the county today.
East Midlands Railway said at 8:15 am on Thursday 21 December:
‘Due to severe weather this morning there is damage to the NET Tram overheads which have then damaged the Level Crossing barriers at Bulwell.
This is affecting our trains on the Nottingham/Mansfield/Worksop route. Network rail are heading to site to investigate.
Trains running through the area in both directions between Nottingham and Hucknall cannot run.

As soon as the problem is fixed our priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. The severe weather issues are expected to continue for the rest of the day.
