Resident warning after boy assaulted in robbery attempt in Bridgford Park

Youths wearing balaclavas threatened the boy outside the registry office.

The parent told us:

‘On Saturday evening ( 10 June ) at 7:15 pm, in Bridgford Park, my son was approached by several lads, a couple in balaclavas and asked him to hand over his watch, to which he refused and was promptly punched in the back of the head.

‘They then went off on scooters.

‘Just a warning to all parents in West Bridgford and surrounding areas, tell your kids to be wary and stay in public places, esp if they’re in West Bridgford during the evening.’
