Officers were called to an altercation between two groups of young men in Foxhall Road at 7:25 pm this evening (16 May).
It was reported that the groups were seen fighting with weapons and police including specialist officers were deployed to the area.
It is believed that some of those involved fled the scene on bikes and scooters.
Chief Inspector Neil Humphris said:
“Officers remain in the area this evening and we ask local residents to be vigilant.
