Following the retirement of Stephen Littlewood earlier this year, Rex Gooding has successfully taken over the management of 100 residential and commercial properties from Littlewood & Co, Estate Agency and Chartered Surveyors.
Chloe Gooding commented, ‘I have known Stephen for a number of years in his capacity as a respected Chartered Surveyor in Hucknall, more recently sharing joint commercial letting instructions in his North Nottingham patch. It was an honour to be approached when he was thinking of retiring.’

The transfer comes with an interesting backstory. Stephen acquired his business some 40 years ago from Beardsley Theobald—a practice in Derbyshire, which continued the estate agency and surveying practice of Charles Gooding, father of Rex Gooding and grandfather of Chloe and Dan, when he retired.
Chloe commented, ‘It is wonderful to have this history with our new clients, and I have loved the interesting conversations it has brought.’
