The event is on this weekend at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre.
This weekend is a welcome return to the gathering of miniature traction engines who will be in operation both days within the site and may well be offering rides.
It is open 10 am until 4 am both Saturday and Sunday, the collection of preserved buses from the local area can be seen.
On Sunday, weather permitting, the miniature ride-on trains will be running along their extended track.
The Ruddington Model Railway Club will be open both Saturday and Sunday to view their excellent layouts.
If you have a specific question ask away, the members will be only too happy to help you. Ask also about their sales items.
The onsite Heritage Cafe will be serving hot and cold refreshments throughout the weekend and our Bric A Brac emporium will be open and selling a wide range of railwayana, books and general goods.
The Rempstone Steam and Country Show will be on site to advertise their event and on Sunday, the local branch of the Yamaha motor cycle club plan to be in attendance.
So, all in all, a good place to visit, all for the cost of £2.00 car parking.
