The incident happened in Homefield Avenue in Arnold.
Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘We were called following reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars and a bus on Homefield Avenue, Arnold after 1.20pm today (7 January).
‘A woman has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries, with the road expected to remain closed as officers respond to the incident.
‘Drivers are advised to find alternative routes and avoid the area.’
AA Roadwatch said:
‘Partially blocked and slow traffic due to emergency services incident on Homefield Avenue both ways at Karen Rise. Detour in operation – for bus service 58.’
Nottingham City Transport said:
‘There is an incident on Homefield Avenue.
‘Lime 58 buses are following the 58X route in both directions using Coppice Road and Beechwood Road.
‘Buses will show 58X.’
