Multiple road closures are in place after a serious road traffic collision near Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident involving six vehicles at the junction of the A611 Derby Road and the B6139 Coxmoor Road.
The collision took place shortly before 6.40pm and eight people have been injured.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police have closed Coxmoor Road between Cauldwell Road and Kirkby Road, Ravenshead. They have also closed Derby Road from the junction of Diamond Avenue.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
