The road is closed between Daleside Road and Lady Bay Bridge.
Nottingham Travelwisesaid: “Meadow Lane between Daleside roundabout and Lady Bay Bridge is closed due to a fire.
“Emergency services on scene. Please find alternative route and allow extra time for your journey.”
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘We currently have London Road, Highfields, Stockhill, Mansfield, West Bridgford and Long Eaton Fire Station in attendance at a fire on Meadow Lane, Lady Bay.
‘We will be at the incident for a considerable amount of time, so we are asking the public to stay away from the area.’
AA Roadwatch reports:
‘Road closed and very slow traffic due to building fire on A6011 both ways between Lady Bay Bridge and Lady Bay Retail Park. Congestion to surrounding routes including Lady Bay Bridge, Trent Bridge, Meadow Lane and Daleside Road.’
