Tree Services

Works by the city tree services team to trim trees before the start of nesting season will be completed on 3-6 April and 11-14 April. Previous works that happened in March could not be totally completed due to the winter weather and the work needed being more extensive than expected.

Derby Road will be closed 9 am-3 pm on 3-6 April and 11&14 (not 12 or 13) April between Canning Circus and Faraday Road.

Works to replace the existing zebra crossing on the A6130 Gregory Boulevard, to the west of the Goose fair Roundabout, with a new parallel crossing to accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists began 18 March and will last for approximately 6 weeks.

The scheme forms part of plans to improve connections into the city from the north along the Mansfield Road and Hucknall Road corridors.

The work involves some lane closures, but traffic disruption is being mitigated by working outside of peak hours on inbound lanes, when traffic levels are much lower.
