Motorists in Rushcliffe are being advised to allow extra time for journeys as a number of roadworks and temporary traffic restrictions take place across the borough.
The works affect routes in West Bridgford, Radcliffe on Trent, Bingham, Keyworth, East Leake, Tollerton, Cotgrave, Upper Saxondale, Fairham, Screveton and Car Colston.
Here is the latest weekly roadworks round-up for Rushcliffe.
Monday 29 June
Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place on Main Road, Radcliffe on Trent, around 15 metres north of the junction with Greenway Close.
The signals will operate from 09:00 to 15:00 while carriageway repairs are carried out. The road will be clear outside these times.
Lane closures will also be in place at Margidvnvm Roundabout in Bingham from Monday 29 June to Tuesday 30 June.
The restrictions will affect the whole roundabout and approaching slip roads between 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The work involves replacing an existing gully and scraping silt from the carriageway.
Tuesday 30 June to Friday 3 July
Works are planned on Nottingham Road, Fairham, from the junction with Barton Lane to the junction with Harvest Grove.
The restrictions will run from 07:30 on Tuesday 30 June to 17:30 on Friday 3 July.
Four-way signals will be used at junctions when required, with rolling two-way signals in place at other times. The signals will be in use 24 hours a day while Severn Trent Water carries out work to remove an abandoned water main and ironwork.
Wednesday 1 July to Friday 3 July
A series of road marking works will take place across Rushcliffe from Wednesday 1 July to Friday 3 July.
In Upper Saxondale, rolling stop/go boards will be in place on Saxondale Drive, from the junction with Buckingham Drive to the junction with Henson Close. The restrictions will operate from 08:00 to 16:00 only.
In Screveton, stop/go boards will be used on Lodge Lane, around 15 metres from the junction with Fosse Way, between 08:00 and 16:00.
In Car Colston, rolling stop/go boards will be in place on Screveton Road, from the junction with New Lane to the junction with The Green. These will operate from 08:00 to 16:00.
In Keyworth, rolling stop/go boards will be in use on Wolds Drive, from the junction with Beech Avenue to the junction with Laurel Avenue. The works are scheduled from 09:00 on Wednesday 1 July to 14:30 on Friday 3 July, with restrictions operating between 08:00 and 16:00.
Main Street in Keyworth will also be affected, from the junction with The Square to the junction with Cedar Drive. Rolling stop/go boards will be in place from 09:00 to 15:00 while road markings are refreshed.
Cadent Gas works are also continuing in Keyworth. Rolling multi-way signals are being used at relevant junctions on Nicker Hill, Meadow Drive, Willow Brook, Highview Avenue and Platt Lane as part of mains replacement works. Nicker Hill works are scheduled to continue until Monday 20 July, Highview Avenue until Monday 13 July, and Platt Lane until Friday 10 July.
Wednesday 1 July to Thursday 2 July
Three-way traffic signals will be in place on Scrimshire Lane, Cotgrave, at the junction with Plumtree Road.
The signals will operate from 08:00 to 15:00 each day while carriageway gully repairs are carried out. The road will be clear outside these times.
Thursday 2 July
Temporary two-way signals will be used on Falcon Way, East Leake, at the junction with Fieldfare Close.
The restrictions will operate from 08:00 to 16:00 while Severn Trent Water replaces a damaged frame and cover. Temporary traffic control will also be in place on Fieldfare Close.
Thursday 2 July to Friday 3 July
Two-way traffic signals will be in place on Cotgrave Lane, Tollerton, around 515 metres north of the junction with Cotgrave Road.
The restrictions will operate from 08:30 to 15:00 each day while a damaged drainage pipe is repaired.
Friday 3 July
Four-way traffic signals will be in place on Lansdowne Drive, West Bridgford, at the junction with Stanhome Drive and Canberra Crescent.
The restrictions will operate from 08:00 to 17:30 while a BT pole is replaced.
Friday 3 July to Saturday 4 July
Three-way traffic signals will be in place 24 hours a day on Sharpley Drive, East Leake, at the junction with Manor Road.
The works will run from 08:00 on Friday 3 July to 18:00 on Saturday 4 July while Severn Trent Water installs a new water connection.
Later works to note
Further roadworks are scheduled in Rushcliffe during the following week.
On Lady Bay Bridge in West Bridgford, two-way signals will be in place overnight along the full length of the bridge from Monday 6 July to Tuesday 14 July while gully kerbs are replaced.
The restrictions will usually operate from 19:00 to 05:00. However, on Tuesday 7 July and Friday 10 July, the start time will be delayed until 22:30 because of cricket matches.
In West Leake, two-way signals will be used on Main Street, around 25 metres east of the junction with Pithouse Lane, from Tuesday 7 July to Wednesday 8 July. The signals will operate from 08:00 to 18:00 each day while damaged pipe repairs are carried out.
On Melton Road, Tollerton, two-way signals will be used around 25 metres east of the junction with Lenton Avenue on Wednesday 8 July from 09:30 to 15:00. The work involves replacing or repairing a damaged central reservation.
On Fern Road, Cropwell Bishop, two-way signals will be in place 24 hours a day from Thursday 9 July to Sunday 11 July. The works will take place around 50 metres east of the junction with Nottingham Road while a defective carriageway reinstatement is rectified.
A temporary road closure will also be in place in Radcliffe on Trent for the Radcliffe on Trent Carnival on Saturday 11 July. Main Road and Bingham Road will be closed from the junction with the A52 to the junction with Water Lane between 12:30 and 16:45.
