They will be offering three levels of services for residential homes.

· Home Emergency Cover – Insurance that protects your home all year, including an annual service

· Boiler Replacement – One-off replacement of your boiler

· Boiler Service – One-off annual boiler service.

Robin Hood Energy is a not for profit company, launched by Nottingham City Council.

Its mission is to provide low cost gas and electricity to every household in the UK, they are now extending this ethos to home emergency cover.

The company’s ambition is to reduce fuel poverty across the country by providing energy as cheaply as they can. They know that one of the best ways to support struggling, low-income families is to help them save on their energy bills. Now, Robin Hood Energy are launching the new home energy services product at a reduced rate so customers can have peace of mind that their boiler will be protected and will be fixed quickly with zero excess and without paying over the odds monthly.

Gail Scholes, Chief Executive at Robin Hood Energy, said: “Launching our home energy services with Northern Gas Heating is something we have been looking at doing for a while. We know that when a boiler breaks down it can be a troubling, so by launching this new product at an affordable rate means customers will be protected and won’t have paid over the odds for their boiler cover.”

“People don’t need to have their energy supplied by Robin Hood Energy to access these great offers and new and existing RHE customers will pay the same price. Not only are we better on prices but our product offers more cover than our competitors. This includes no excess and unlimited call outs.”
