The charity is releasing images of person they want to speak to and asking him or anyone who knows him to get in touch.
The RSPCA is looking for a man in relation to an attack on a baby wood pigeon in Worksop, North Nottinghamshire at the weekend.
The charity is today (Monday 24 August) releasing images of him as part of an investigation into the incident.
The bird was repeatedly kicked outside 4 Carlton Road, Worksop at 19.54 on Saturday night (22 August).
She had to be put to sleep as a result of her injuries.
RSPCA inspector Kate Burris said: “I am appealing to the man in the images to come forward, or anyone who knows him to get in touch and identify him.
“We’re grateful to the people who reported this to us, and hope others in the community can now help us.
