‘Officers from the local neighbourhood team are conducting a local operation in the Ruddington area throughout the evening and into the early hours over the weekend. This will be a combination of uniformed and plain-clothed patrols in regards to the recent increase in crime.

‘If anyone sees anything or anyone suspicious please call 101 or if you witness them committing a crime call in on 999.’

It comes after seven streets were targeted by thieves last weekend in the village.

Police said at the time:

‘The streets targeted are Woodhouse Gardens, Martin Crescent, Bradbury Gardens, Churchill Drive, Camelot Street, Westerham Road and Brettsil Drive

Police are appealing for any witness or properties that may have CCTV to check it and get in touch if they see anyone suspicious on their footage.
