Ruddington: New toilets for heritage centre but £10,000 needed to complete the work

Work is now underway on the new toilet block at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre in Ruddington.

After years of providing faithful, if outdated,  service the old toilet block has been demolished.

‘All being well, brand new fully accessible modern facilities will be built in their place by early December but we still need your help.

‘The cost of the new block is just over £80,000. We have had generous grants from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (thanks to Rushcliffe Borough Council), East Midlands Airport Community Fund, East Midland Railways Community Fund and the Friends of the Great Central Main Line. You too stepped up and raised £11,000.’

‘We’re now around £10,000 short of the funds we need. So please help us raise some pennies by donating some pennies at LNER GC Heritage Trust.  Click on the toilet block appeal link.’
