Rugby Road, West Bridgford is closed from its junction with Loughborough Road in a westerly direction for 40 metres.
Closure from 08:00 hours on Monday 9 August 2021 Until 16:00 hours on Friday 27th August 2021
There were delays at around 5 pm today 9 August as the works started.
The footpath just past The Wolds is also closed.
Traffic was backed up past ASDA all the way down Loughborough Road as far as the Wilford Lane / Melton Road junction.
Nottingham City Transport buses are affected:
‘Green 8/9 will divert between 9th-27th August due to the closure of Rugby Road. Buses will use Kingswood Road/Burnside Road and Loughborough Road in both directions during this time.

Walcote Drive, S-bound

These stops cannot be served by Green 10/C/X due to the closure of Rugby Road.
Sewer works and gas mains works will take place in the area.
The restrictions are controlled by multi-way traffic lights for 24 hours a day.
There are also works in Ruddington.
In Ruddington the lights are at the junction of Kirk Lane and Flawforth Lane. Sewer works.
In West Bridgford the lights are at Eton Road and Rugby Road junction.
