Rushcliffe Councillor Debbie Soloman has joined Reform UK.
Cllr Debbie Soloman has represented Newton on the council since 2023, and had previously been a member of the Conservative party. But she says “The Conservative Party is over. Only Reform can deliver the change Britain needs’”.
Cllr Soloman said: “Reform UK is clear about what needs to be done to get our country back on track. It stands for common sense, accountability, and real change, which are values I have always believed in,” she said. “I remain committed to serving my residents and will continue working hard for my community and represent Reform UK as only Reform will put British people and our country first.”
Commenting further, Cllr Debbie Soloman said, “The Conservative Party promised to reduce immigration but has allowed record numbers to enter the country. Despite holding an 80-seat majority, it failed to deliver meaningful change or uphold core conservative principles.”
Welcoming her, a Reform Spokesman said: “We’re delighted to have Debbie on board. We welcome anyone who shares our vision for integrity, accountability, and meaningful change to join us.”
