It was found to be the 22nd best place to live nationally, highlighting its continued reputation as a great place, offering great sport and great lifestyle for residents.

Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Deputy Leader Cllr Debbie Mason said: “The survey confirms what many of our residents tell us, that Rushcliffe is a great place with a high quality of life.

“These annual findings highlight that we continue to deliver services and find initiatives that hit at the heart of what resonates with our residents.

“This includes our free tree scheme and environmental priorities, our varied and popular events programme and projects that assist the health and wellbeing of all.”

The annual survey considered 26 different factors that homebuyers might consider when choosing a place to live, including employment and salary, house prices, crime rates and health and personal wellbeing.

Affordability, safety and access to green space were also important factors to UK adults that were considered by the banking group that conducted the survey.

Further details on the survey’s results and a full list of regions can be found on the Lloyds Banking Group website.
