Helping involve patients, carers, community groups and the general public in the work of the NHS in Rushcliffe.

Our Health Development Worker from RCVS works directly with local communities, patient groups, forums and local voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups through community development participatory approaches to help people get involved. RCVS facilitate and chair the NHS Rushcliffe CCG Patient Forums. The Forums are for patients / carers and people with an interest in health services.

Meetings are held monthly with various topics, and include relevant speakers to assist, support and inform members.

“Found it (the Forum) extremely useful, always nice to find out what is happening elsewhere. The meetings are always very relaxed and informal. Sue always keeps the discussions well controlled, allowing all participants feeling they have been able to have their say”
