Police visited Langar and Cropwell Bishop on additional patrols following incidents overnight on Friday 12 December.
Police in Rushcliffe said:
‘Beat managers from the neighbourhood policing team dealt with issues on their areas including neighbour disputes, concerns for children being groomed for criminal exploitation or by religious and political extremists online and anti-social behaviour involving off road vehicles.

‘One of our Police Community Support Officers carried out a fraud prevention and protection visit to a victim of fraud to reassure the victim and try to prevent any further offences.
‘The PCSOs carry out these visits on behalf of the Fraud and Economic Crime teams on a regular basis to engage with victims and give them information to prevent them being victimised again.

‘Due to reports on Saturday evening of illegal street racing and car cruising on other areas of Nottinghamshire Rushcliffe officers have been checking our previous hotspots for anti-social and dangerous drivers at Edwalton and Saxondale. Those areas were clear of unwanted anti-social visitors if you do encounter nuisance or dangerous driving in these areas please report this to Police.’
