Motorists are being advised of a series of roadworks taking place across Rushcliffe during the week beginning Monday 20 July.
The works include overnight traffic signals on Lady Bay Bridge, road repairs in Langar and temporary restrictions on routes through West Bridgford, East Leake, Orston and Hickling Pastures.
Lady Bay Bridge, West Bridgford
Two-way temporary traffic signals will be in operation along the full length of Lady Bay Bridge from 19:00 until 04:00 each night between Monday 20 July and Friday 24 July.
The signals will be manually controlled while drainage gullies on the bridge are cleansed and inspected using CCTV. The road will be clear outside the overnight working hours.
Loughborough Road, West Bridgford
Four-way temporary traffic signals will be used at the junction of Loughborough Road, Rugby Road and Eton Road from 20:00 until 23:59 on Friday 24 July.
There will then be some carriageway incursion between 00:01 and 04:00 on Saturday 25 July while road markings are refreshed.
Musters Road, Langar
Two-way temporary traffic signals will be in place approximately 65 metres north of the junction with Cropwell Road from Monday 20 July until Tuesday 21 July.
The signals will operate from 09:30 until 14:30 each day while carriageway repairs are carried out. The road will be clear outside those hours.
Station Road, Orston
Two-way temporary traffic signals remain in place approximately 445 metres south of the junction with Hilltop until 18:00 on Monday 20 July.
The restrictions are required for the installation of new telecommunications equipment. The signals are manually controlled between 08:00 and 18:00.
Kirk Ley Road, East Leake
Two-way temporary traffic signals are in operation around 55 metres north of the junction with Leveret Way until 16:00 on Tuesday 21 July.
The signals are in use 24 hours a day while Severn Trent repairs a burst water pipe.
Woodgate Road, East Leake
Two-way temporary traffic signals will remain in place approximately 65 metres west of the junction with Rempstone Road throughout the week.
The restrictions are in operation 24 hours a day and are expected to continue until 17:00 on Thursday 30 July while National Grid locates and repairs a high-voltage cable fault.
Melton Road, Hickling Pastures
Three-way temporary traffic signals will be used at the junction of Melton Road and Hickling Lane from 09:00 until 15:00 on Thursday 23 July.
Further along Melton Road, two-way signals will operate approximately 115 metres south-east of the junction with Bridegate Lane from 12:00 until 15:00 on the same day.
Both sets of restrictions are required while damaged road signs and posts are replaced.
