Following the relaxation of the lockdown rules, local MP Ruth Edwards went to show her support for local pubs by pulling the first pint for the first customer at the Nevile Arms in Kinoulton.

This is following the change in the guidance which allows pubs to re-open from the 4th July, so long as they have the correct safety measures in place to protect staff and customers.

The new rules, which also allow hairdressers and barbers, cinemas, museums and galleries, in addition to hotels, B&Bs, campsites and caravan parks to re-open will help in beginning to get our communities back to normal in the safest possible way.

“Thank you to Trish Conway and her team by allowing me to celebrate their re-opening by welcoming their first customers back through the door.”
