Organiser Simon Stanford told us:

‘My reasoning for getting involved in the Save Lutterell Hall campaign is that wonderful local community halls like Lutterell Hall are under threat of being sold off or closed by councils.

‘Multi-use facilities are at the heart of the community and should be kept open wherever they are.

‘The hall is a beautiful historic building and is central to so many people living in the West Bridgford community.

‘It’s used for a wide variety of local events in the daytime and evening and there is no other community facility like it in West Bridgford.

‘When I became aware that the hall was under threat I signed the petition and thought of ways I could help raise awareness

‘We hope to get the local community will come along for a great night of dancing to the best ever music to groove to and make some money for St Giles Pre School at the same time

The Save Lutterell Hall Disco is on Friday 13th September 7.30pm – 11pm
