Schoolwork lost after laptop stolen from car in Nottingham city – image released

Police have issued pictures of a man they want to speak with after a laptop and perfume were stolen from a car in Nottingham.

The front passenger window of the parked vehicle was smashed in Arboretum Street, Arboretum, at around 5.50pm on 7 July.

It was reported that a laptop containing a child’s schoolwork and a bottle of perfume were stolen during the incident.

Following enquiries, police believe the man in these images will be able to assist their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to come forward.

PC Chris Cutts, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“The laptop belonged to a schoolgirl and contained some of her school work, so this was a distressing incident.

“It was also a massive inconvenience for the child’s father due to the expense of having to replace the car window.
