A 21-year-old man arrested on Sunday in connection with the incident has been released on police bail, with conditions, pending further enquiries.

Detective Inspector Ed Cook, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This is now the second arrest in connection with the investigation and our detectives are working through lots of information.

“However we would still like to hear from anyone with information that could help the investigation.

“Did you drive past the area at the time and haven’t checked you dash-cam footage yet? It could have vital information about who was in the area at the time, even if it didn’t capture the incident itself, so I’d urge you to please get in touch on 101, quoting incident number 837 of Thursday 9 May 2019. If you’d rather report it anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
