Seven more Nottingham patients die with coronavirus – city total now 189

The sad news was announced by NUH this afternoon Tuesday 28 April.

Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further seven patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19.

“Regrettably that means that 189 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”

“The patients were aged between 71 and 87, and died on the 24th and 27th of April.”

“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
