Seven more Nottingham patients die with coronavirus – city total reaches 202

Nottingham University Hospitals announced the sad news this afternoon Thursday 30 April.

Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further seven patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19.

“Regrettably that means that 202 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”

“The patients were aged between 58 and 93, and died between the 24th and 28th of April.”

“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
