Several Nottingham bus routes affected by road closures and works next week

Passengers using Nottingham City Transport services are being advised to check routes next week, with a number of road closures and ongoing works affecting buses across the network.

The disruption includes daytime, evening and overnight closures at several locations, with services in Nottingham, Beeston, Aspley, Nuthall Road and around City Hospital among those affected.

Coleby Road and Denton Green remain closed during the daytime from Wednesday 3 June until Thursday 11 June, affecting routes 35 and 78.

Beeston Interchange will also be closed overnight from Monday 8 June to Saturday 13 June, affecting the N34 night bus service.

Spring Lane will be closed during the daytime on Monday 8 June between 10am and 2pm. Route 61 will be affected during the closure.

Morley Road is closed from Sunday 1 June until Thursday 12 June, affecting route 39.

Evening closures are also in place on Shelford Road from Sunday 1 June until Friday 13 June, affecting routes 44, 44A and 60.

In Nottingham city centre, the King Street stop closures remain ongoing. Routes 24, 25, 25B, 26, 26A, 27 and N26 are affected.

Longer-running roadworks are also continuing in Aspley, where resurfacing works are due to remain in place until Monday 30 June. Routes 35, 77, 77C, 78, 79, 79A and 79B are affected.

Roadworks on Nuthall Road are also continuing and are scheduled to remain in place until Thursday 31 July. Routes 78, 79, 79A and 79B are affected.

The closure of Linden Way at City Hospital also remains in place until further notice, affecting routes 40 and 40X.

Passengers are advised to allow extra time for journeys and check the latest route information before travelling.
