Should Central Avenue be pedestrianised? Have your say here

The Central West Bridgford Community Association launches a survey about  Central Avenue and traffic reduction.

The entry of Covid-19 into our lives has been a nightmare, and of necessity has caused us to step back and re-examine how almost everything is done.

The spotlight for many has fallen on the local environment, how to protect and enhance it, how to get the most out of it while giving as much as possible back to it.

For example, reduction in traffic became one accidental result which was widely appreciated.  On the other hand, concern mounted on behalf of local businesses and the high street.

The Central West Bridgford Community Association (CWBCA) has observed the public discussion on whether to pedestrianise Central Avenue, and how to encourage more active travel and accessibility for the well-being of all.

To respond to calls on social media for a survey on how our community might like to proceed with this, we can now invite you to take part in a survey on Survey Monkey (link below, or via QR code attached).  The survey will remain available until 30th September 2020, because we are keen for feedback to be as timely as possible.

CWBCA will analyse results while preserving your anonymity and privacy.  We sincerely look forward to receiving the views and comments of anyone living, working, or volunteering in West Bridgford.  No matter what your point of view or perspective is, it is your participation that will make this survey valuable.
