Officers patrolling Radford Road yesterday evening seized more £6,000 in cash and arrested six people connection with supplying drugs.
Nottinghamshire Police officers spotted a suspicious camper van in Lewis Industrial Estate at around 5.20 pm.
They approached and searched the vehicle and quickly discovered a large quantity of cannabis, as well as other class A and class B drugs inside.
Two women, aged 39 and 33 and four men, aged 52, 52, 47, 47, were all arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
One of the males was also being questioned in connection with a report of burglary made to Nottinghamshire Police in Tilbury Rise on 19th January 2020.
Detective Sergeant Christopher Berryman, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Drug crime has no place on our streets and despite lockdown measures, we are tackling drug dealers as normal.
“Our officers did an excellent job to find and take these drugs off the streets and make six arrests in connection with the find.
“The six people arrested remain in police custody and are being questioned in connection with the find.
