NUH announced the news on Wednesday 29th April.
Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further six patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19.
“Regrettably that means that 195 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”
“The patients were aged between 77 and 92, and died between the 26th and 28th of April.”
“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
