Six more Nottingham patients die with coronavirus – city total reaches 208

NUH announced the sad news this afternoon Friday 1 May.

Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further six patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19.

“Regrettably that means that 208 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”

“The patients were aged between 60 and 89, and died on the 29th and 30th of April.”

“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
