South Notts Men’s Chorus (SNMC) is inviting male singers, with or without previous singing experience to join a new Lite Choir in West Bridgford in aid of charity.
The Charity is CALM:
“We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling [low], standing up to stereotypes and standing together to show life is always worth living.
125 lives are lost every week to suicide. And 75% of all UK suicides are male.”
SNMC Lite is holding its first rehearsal on Thursday 19th October at the West Bridgford Methodist Church, Musters Road.
The new choir members will receive professional direction and tuition, completely free of charge, in 8 weekly rehearsals leading to a performance at the charity concert at the Methodist Church on Friday 8th December. Songs include; White Christmas, Step into Christmas, A Midwinter Noel and Merry Xmas Everybody.
The Concert will be held jointly will the acclaimed South Notts Men’s Chorus and all proceeds will go to CALM.
