Speed enforcement after residents’ concerns in Radcliffe and Cotgrave

Police in Rushcliffe continued speed enforcement checks across the borough yesterday.

A spokesperson said on 17 June:

‘Officers from Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Policing Team have been out this afternoon conducting speed checks following a number of complaints regarding speeding motorists across the region.

‘Officers spoke to a number of motorists and issued Traffic Offence Reports as appropriate – including in Cotgrave and Radcliffe on Trent.

‘Motorists are advised to watch their speed and manner of driving as local officers will be conducting further speed operations across the Rushcliffe South region.’

Police have been carrying speed checks out across Rushcliffe for weeks now.

‘Local Neighbourhood Policing Team officers have conducted speed gun operations across Rushcliffe South this morning and this afternoon targeting locations in Bingham, Radcliffe on Trent, Cotgrave, Ruddington, Bradmore, East Leake and other rural locations such as Aslockton, Newton and Shelton.
