Flower Power Fairs will be holding their gardeners’ plant fair at Holme Pierrepont Hall on Sunday 26 March.
The timings are from 11 am-4 pm.
The plant fair is held in front of the Hall and brings a selection of specialist plant growers from the North and Midlands offering a huge choice of herbaceous plants, shrubs with particular emphasis on colour and shape, climbers, lilies, herbs, heucheras, shade loving plants and ferns.
Many of the nurseries are award winners from RHS shows and offer quality plants, which are not normally found in garden centres and other outlets.
A total of 15 plant specialists will be there along with garden accessory stalls.
Holme Pierrepont Hall received a grant via the Heritage Lottery and The Country Houses Foundation to repair and restore garden walls, which date back to the 16th Century in 2018.
The funding enables research into the site’s history including the topiary courtyard, which used to house aviaries for tropical birds and a monkey house in its centre. The restoration of the gardens and the walls continues to this day.
Entry to the fair, gardens and grounds is just £5.00 and parking is free. Refreshments are available throughout the day.
