Head Coach Steve Cooper was left delighted after his Forest side won promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years on Sunday afternoon.
After a 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town at Wembley, he said: “I feel proud and happy and just so pleased for everybody connected with the football club. There are so many people who love this football club.
“The players have been incredible this season. They were at the very bottom and it is hard to get off the canvas, but they deserve it. We deserve to get promoted.
“The football that we’ve played, the young players who have thrived, scoring lots and lots of goals, keeping clean sheets. Every time we’ve had a setback, we’ve recovered. That’s what winners do.
