The house is lit up in aid of the RSPCA Animal Shelter in Radcliffe.
The lights were switched on in Gamston at David Carter’s Christmas House in support of RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre.
David has been decorating his house and garden with Christmas lights and lots more for nine years, and all in aid of the animal centre at Radcliffe On Trent.
This year, he started the work on 9 October, and he says he finished it at 3:55 pm today!
You can donate using a collection box at the front fence of the house at 4 Sandale Close Gamston Nottingham NG2 6QG.
The lights are LED low-energy.
Thousands of lights adorn the house and garden – a raffle was held before Santa himself arrived ( by ‘helicopter’ ) to open the proceedings with a countdown to the switch-on.
Like every year, hundreds of people from the neighbourhood turn up the support David.
