Stolen car hits tree after police pursuit

The Ford Fiesta failed to stop for the Nottinghamshire Roads Policing Unit in the Tickhill area.

After it crashed into a tree it was confirmed that the Ford Fiesta had just been stolen from the Skellow area of Doncaster.

It has since been recovered and one man has been  arrested.

There was another Ford located nearby which was stolen from Worksop.

Police said:

‘We’d like to thank SYP Ops and NPAS for all the excellent teamwork resulting in these two cars being located and recovered.

‘We also issued a number of traffic offence reports and prohibited a vehicle for a number of defects which was also searched under Prevent Poaching powers.’
