Student Night returns to Victoria Centre with almost 50 retailers on board

For one-night only on Wednesday 29 September from 5:00pm – 10:00pm, students can expect a whole host of deals in almost 50 stores.

A night dedicated to Nottingham’s vibrant student community returns to the city’s leading shopping destination, Victoria Centre, this week and it’s set to be bigger than ever.

For one-night only on Wednesday 29 September from 5:00pm – 10:00pm, students can expect a whole host of deals in almost 50 stores, games and competitions, goodie bags, live music and DJ sets at the centre’s Student Night.

With last year’s event unable to take place due to the pandemic, more retailers than ever have signed up to take part, including big name brands like Boux Avenue (20% off) and Urban Outfitters (20% off), HMV(10% off), Yankee Candle (15% off) and Morphe (20% on spends over £35).

Local favourites including Nottingham Street Food Club, Relic x Hooked and Clean Cut Kitchen are also involved.

Located on the lower mall and newcomer to the centre, leading British cycle manufacturer Ribble Cycles, is also offering students the chance to win a free custom bike worth up to £600.

Commenting on this year’s event, Nigel Wheatley, centre director at Victoria Centre, said:

“We know the last 18-months have been a challenging time, particularly for students who haven’t had the freedom to really explore what this city has to offer. But I’m pleased to say that we’re back with a Student Night to remember.

“Since our last event, we’ve unveiled an exciting array of new retailers that we’re confident the student community here in Nottingham will love. We’ve really pulled out all the stops to get our fantastic brands involved, as well as laying on some stellar entertainment to make this year’s event the best one yet.

Nigel, added:

“2021’s horde of students will be treated to Nottingham’s up and coming performers at our live Buskers’ Stage; a night of Laser Tag with friends at MeetSpaceVR’s pop-up outside Tesco Metro, Coca Cola Zero giveaways or the chance to get a free glow-up in our Beauty Zone where you can experience some of what the centre’s health and beauty retailers have to offer. You could even take part in some of our competitions, including Spin to Win boards and the Gold Bar Challenge.

“We hope this year’s cohort of students enjoy the evening dedicated to them, and feel at home here in the city. Welcome to Nottingham!”
