‘Substantial’ cannabis grow found in a Nottingham loft

Nottingham City North Neighbourhood Policing and City North Reacher Team executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act this morning on Longmead Drive, Nottingham.

The warrant was carried out following information gained through intelligence.

Entry was gained and a substantial cannabis grow was located in the loft.

Police said:

‘It was also identified that the electricity at the address had been abstracted which is not only an offence, it can be very dangerous.

‘The occupants of the address will be interviewed in due course.

‘The City North team encourage anyone to report drug activity in their area.
