A major musical event is set to take place on Sunday 20 July, as all five of the Liberty Singer choirs come together for the very first time for a spectacular summer concert.
Held at the prestigious Albert Hall in Nottingham, the performance will run from 2.30pm to 5pm, offering an uplifting afternoon of harmony, joy, and community spirit.
Founded seven years ago, the West Bridgford Liberty Singers have grown into a vibrant network of choirs across the region, bringing people together through music and shared passion. This upcoming event, titled “Summer Harmonies”, marks a proud milestone for the founder, as it’s the first time all five choirs will perform together on such an iconic stage.
The charities supported are The Alzheimer’s Society and Harmless (which is a local charity based in East Leake which is a centre of excellence for self-harm and suicide prevention). You can read more about how the CEO of Harmless experiences all the good feelings and effects of being in the choir. https://harmless.org.
Expect a feel-good mix of contemporary tunes, beautiful arrangements, and a powerful display of what voices in harmony can achieve. We’ll be singing popular songs to showcase the variety of repertoire we have mastered – songs you’ll now and love. It’s not just a concert—it’s a celebration of togetherness, local talent, and the power of music to connect.
