Summer starts at Rufford Abbey with Frozen outdoor cinema

Rufford Abbey Country park is letting it go with a screening of Disney’s Frozen this June. The eight meter LED daytime screen will allow families to enjoy a picnic in the sunshine whilst watching one of their favourite Disney singalong movies.

The event is part of a series of outdoor cinema events which will be taking place throughout the summer.  Rachael Dolan, Events and Marketing Manager at Rufford said:

“We are so excited that we are once again able to offer our family outdoor cinema experience this year.

“We had a huge turnout for our family cinema event last year with record numbers reaching over 1500 people watching Moana.

“The atmosphere was electric with families singing along and enjoying quality time together with a picnic and even a ball game or two after the film ends.”

 

Disney’s Frozen will be shown on Saturday 7th June and Sunday 8th June and is free to watch.

There is a nominal parking charge which can be purchased in advance to avoid disappointment on the day.

Rachael continues,  “Rufford Abbey’s free films are cost-effective appealing to the whole community for an enjoyable day out!

“There is only a £10 advance payment for car parking to pay with plenty of other activities to do during the day time, making it an affordable and local event for everyone.”
