Roads will have closures in place and parking restrictions on Sunday 26 May.
For motorists in the area, a diversion route via Radcliffe Road, Loughborough Road, Trent Bridge, A6011 Cattle Market Road and Meadow Lane will be in place during the half an hour period that Lady Bay Bridge will be closed on both nights between 10:30pm and 11pm.
Councillor Neil Clarke MBE, Cabinet Member for Transport and Environment at Nottinghamshire County Council, said:
“An estimated 28,000 people will be travelling to the City Ground each night to see Take That and so extra safety measures will be in place to allow concertgoers to travel to and from the ground safely.
“One of these measures will include a short-term closure of Lady Bay Bridge each night of the concert which will allow fans to exit the ground safely once the concert has ended.
“During this half an hour closure period we advise that motorists instead use the diversion route to complete their journeys.
“We know that these restrictions will have an impact on local residents, and we have been assured that Nottingham Forest Football Club has contacted residents who may be impacted to advise of what this means for them.
“We advise that anyone travelling into or around the area on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May leaves extra time to complete their journeys as we expect roads to be busy.”
