A 24-year-old man was arrested yesterday (Tuesday) evening on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody.
Detective Sergeant Louise Bradford, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a violent attack carried out in a busy street in broad daylight and we have been working hard to identify he person responsible. I am pleased that we now have a suspect in custody and our investigation continues.
“This kind of violence has no place on our streets and as a force we are continuing efforts to reduce overall knife crime by taking weapons off the streets and working with potential perpetrators to prevent offences before they happen.”
