A suspect has been charged following a series of break-ins and a shop theft in the Arboretum area of Nottingham.
Police officers have been investigating two commercial break-ins that occurred on Tuesday (7 April) at Derby Road.
Various bottles of alcohol were taken from one premises, whilst a projector, blender and laptop were reported missing from another address.
Drink cans were also taken from a business in Ilkeston Road on 3 April.
After initial reports of the break-ins came in at 9am, a suspect was located and arrested by 9.20am on the same day (7 April).
Peter Boyd, 39, of Argyle Street, Nottingham, has been charged with two counts of burglary, shop theft, and criminal damage.
He was released on conditional bail and is next due in Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 8 May.
Sergeant Rishi Thobhani, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Incidents of this nature can have a very considerable impact on local businesses and are always thoroughly investigated by Nottinghamshire Police.
“As well as affecting livelihoods, invasive crimes like burglary can also leave a lasting impression on people from an emotional standpoint too.
“That’s why I’m pleased we have now been able to put a suspect before the courts.”
