A 29-year-old man has been charged with drug offences following an undercover police operation.
Stefan Plazinski was stopped by plain-clothed officers in Clinton Street, Nottingham city centre, on 1 March after he was thought to be acting suspiciously.
He was searched and subsequently arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin and cocaine, before being released under investigation.
On March 9, he was stopped again by undercover officers in St Ann’s Well Road and arrested for the same offences.
Plazinski, of Chandos Street, St Ann’s, has now been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 10 March and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 7 April 2022.
Sergeant Jonathan Pothecary, of the Operation Compass team, which carried out the undercover operation, said: “Dealing drugs in Nottingham city centre will not be tolerated and we will take positive action against anyone involved in this criminality.”
