The driver reported by a member of the public was twice the drink driving limit when stopped by police in Nottinghamshire.
Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘In the early hours of this morning (22nd Dec) we received a 999 call reporting a potential drunk driver swerving all over the road on Babworth Road, Retford.
‘Response officers managed to safely stop the vehicle where they discovered the driver had an open bottle of whiskey and a glass in the central console.
‘The driver blew 74 at the roadside and was arrested.’
