Teenager arrested after shots fired from car in Beeston

Police have arrested a suspect after reports of victims being shot at with a BB gun by someone in a moving car.

Inquiries were carried out after four incidents were reported in the Beeston and Stapleford areas over four days, between 18 and 21 June 2023.

Some of the victims suffered minor injuries.

Following inquiries, officers stopped a vehicle in the Wollaton area of Nottingham last night (Wednesday 21 June 2023) and arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

A BB gun and pellets were seized from the vehicle.
