A boy has been arrested following a stabbing in Bobbers Mill.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called just before 11.15pm yesterday (20 November) to a report that a man had been stabbed outside an address in Bobbers Mill Road in Bobbers Mill, Nottingham.
A man has been taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening. Two other people received injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident.
Inspector Marcus Oldroyd, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “I understand how concerning an incident like this can be for the community. We take reports such as this one extremely seriously, and an arrest had been made within minutes of this report being made to us.
“Officers have already begun conducting door to door enquiries and our investigation into what happened is well under way. We believe that this was a targeted incident.
“There will be a large police presence in the area as we work to establish the full circumstances of what happened, and I would encourage anyone who is concerned to speak to one of our officers.
“I would also urge anyone who saw this incident to come forward and help us with our enquiries.”
